This project was taken on by Allpave and turned out to be a very challenging yet rewarding job. We were responsible for every aspect including organisation of traffic control, Profiling, Truck’s and the asphalt crew. We started with a day of preparation hiring in a 1200mm wide profiler to firstly plane both edges of the job along the curbing at a depth of 30mm. The profiler then removed 8 patches in total, ranging in size from 10 to 100 square metres at a depth of 130mm. Two 75mm layers of Dense Grade 20mm Asphalt were reinstated matching the existing road level. We started the next day by removing the traffic islands carefully and profiled the “key Ins” at each end of the street with the skid steer. The whole area was primed with our emulsion and 30mm of Dense Grade 10mm asphalt was Laid with our Bitelli BB 740 Paver over the entire street. Emulsion and thin layer of sand was used to seal the joins at each end of the street.

This was a Roadtek job for the Logan Motorways that Allpave Asphalt Services was involved in with supply of our Bitteli BB740 paver, operator and two of our expert Level hands (one for each side of the machine). The bridge was two lanes with a shoulder and measured 13M Total width in the widest section. Allpave’s BB740 Paver was able to complete the task with only three runs leaving just two joins. One down the centre line of the road and the other between the lane and the shoulder. Allpave is prepared to supply as little or as much of the asphalt crew needed to meet your needs.

This was a Roadtek job for Main Roads. Allpave supplied one of our Bitelli BB 740 Paving machines, operator, two expert level hands (one each side of machine), Multi tyre roller and two 12 Tonne Tip Trucks. The job was to be completed in two visits. One to put two roughly 50mm “bottom” layers with dense grade 20mm asphalt, to take out the uneven level underneath. Allpave’s level hands and sonic sensing equipment made light work of what could have been a very tricky job. Concrete curbing was then poured onto Allpave’s Base level.
